Almost a katana

Even if the sword is wide, it has a very nice flowing shape
The Hamon: Nie Deck Suguha from the Hamachi and then Gunome and Choji mixed and

Historical background

The Kunisuke sword school developed in the interior of Osaka,
in the Kawachi Prefecture, in the period from 1624 to the 1800's.
In the second generation from 1648 to 1652, this was Wakizashi
create. Kawachi Kami Kunisuke (2nd generation) also Naka-Kawachi
He died in 1698. He was a very accredited blacksmith in his day.

Personal note

The present blade is about 370 years old, it has been re-polished and
is in a very good condition. She can be visited with us. The NBTHK
judges the blade as "particularly worth preserving",
